Colophon New Media is pleased to announce that we will be upgrading our web hosting customers to SmarterStats Version 4. Some of you may already see the new version when you login to your web stats. All accounts will be upgraded in the coming 5 weeks.

The Improved SmarterStats Version 4 brings website administrators detailed statistics about your website that will assist you in tracking one or all of your websites.

The new interface was created to be user friendly with easy to understand charts and helpful Wizards to assist in your learning process.

SmarterStats excels at creating visuals to show traffic flow on your website. It also differentiates between automated searches (spiders and bots) and actual surfers visiting your site. This feature makes it possible to cleary see the effectiveness of your website.

In addition, SmarterStats breaks down visitors into a geographic analysis with a colored coded map showing where your visitors are located.  Administrators can use this data to market information to your strong areas or plan a drive to drum up new business.

The new SmarterStats 4.0 allows the administrator to set a maintenance schedule.  Deletions, logging and purging of files and analytical data can all be scheduled saving you time.
