The Charlestonian Launches a Custom Direct-Booking Website Powered by Guesty

The Charlestonian recently launched a new website designed to support and grow its direct booking business for luxury vacation rentals on Cannon Street in Charleston. The site provides a polished, intuitive experience for guests looking to book off-platform while maintaining real-time availability and pricing to ensure seamless operations.

The primary challenge was the Guesty integration. With separate systems for property data and bookings, our team built a fully custom solution that unifies both APIs and integrates payment processing directly into the website. Using our Three-Phase Development Process, we created a booking experience that feels simple for guests while handling complex logic behind the scenes.

The result is a beautiful, high-performing website that minimizes ongoing maintenance and maximizes direct bookings. This project highlights Colophon’s ability to deliver technically sophisticated solutions that directly support business growth in the hospitality and vacation rental space.
